Production Associate 2nd shift

Batesville is a recognized leader in the death care industry in North America, dedicated to helping families honor the lives of those they love. We are currently seeking a Production Associate to join our team in Manchester, TN.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble caskets according to safety and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to work weekends and overtime.
• Ability to follow Safety Standards and Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Nice to have: Previous manufacturing or assembly experience, previous experience working with caskets, ability to learn new skills at a fast pace, dependability, honesty, and quick learner, good communication skills, and team player.

Physical Requirements

• Sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle and feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
• Occasionally lift items as heavy as 50 lbs.
• See with clarity at both near and far distances.

Pay & Benefits

The expected pay for this role is $22.25 to $23.70 per hour with increases after 90 calendar days. Actual compensation within this range may be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
