Production Associate - Modesto, CA

Salary: $23.45 per hour. Shift differentials: 2nd shift +$0.60/hour, 3rd shift +$0.70/hour.

About the role

Entry-level hourly position supporting production by learning to safely operate corrugated production equipment while maintaining strict adherence to safety rules and regulations. Work environment is hot, humid, and noisy; shifts include holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
• Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
• Perform basic asset care duties, including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area
• Work as a team to meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day in a loud, industrial, high-volume environment

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, or military environment OR completion of post-high school education in manufacturing/industrial

Qualifications

What will put you ahead:

• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
• One (1) year or more experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment
• Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry

Schedule

Shift hours (Monday – Friday):

• 1st: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
• 2nd: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
• 3rd: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am

Overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed. Only candidates who are flexible and available to work any shift will be considered.
