Production Associate – Level II – 3rd Shift

About the role

We are looking for a talented Production Associate – Level II – 3rd Shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in North Charleston, SC.

Responsibilities

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

Additional Information

• This position is for 3rd shift Salvage and Disassembly at the Cummins CRP site in North Charleston, SC.
• Previous CNC experience is desired but not required.
• Position requires good attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a quality, maintenance, or technician department is a plus.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Previous experience with using hand tools is a plus.
• Must be able to wear company provided PPE continuously on the shop floor (steel toed shoes, safety glasses, high visibility vests, gloves, hearing protection, etc.).
• Previous experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers is a plus.
• Veterans are encouraged to apply.
• Work is labor intensive and requires frequent manual lifting of turbocharger components up to ~32 pounds.

Compensation

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.

Schedule

This is a 3rd shift position. Due to the operational nature and specific job duties of this role, work is required to be completed 100% in person/on-site.
