Production Associate – Level II – 3rd Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Production Associate – Level II – 3rd Shift to join our Manufacturing team at Cummins Inc. in North Charleston, SC. This role involves ensuring safety compliance, promoting environmental responsibility, maintaining high-quality standards, enhancing productivity, supporting continuous improvement, fostering team collaboration, developing skills and knowledge, and maintaining equipment and work areas.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Some work experience or intermediate level knowledge in CNC, quality, maintenance, or technician departments is preferred.
• Previous experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers is a plus.
• Must be able to wear company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) continuously on the shop floor.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Previous experience with using hand tools is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 32 pounds.

Additional Information

This position is for 3rd shift Salvage and Disassembly at the Cummins CRP site in North Charleston, SC. The role requires good attention to detail and frequent manual lifting of turbocharger components up to 32 pounds. The position is 100% on-site and subject to operational requirements.
