Production Associate I - 2nd Shift (Onsite)

About the role

Collins Aerospace is looking for a Production Associate in the Paint Department to join the manufacturing team in Jamestown, ND. This position involves performing paint and surface preparation operations for painting, un-racking painted parts, and delivering them to internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Prep, prime detail parts to current specification requirements
• Apply top-coat as required
• Follow standard operating procedures and specifications
• Wash, wipe, and sand parts when necessary
• Mask and prep parts for paint as required
• Cure parts after top-coat application
• Operate chart recorders

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D. in the U.S.) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to operate a curing oven and chart recorders
• Ability to interpret blueprints
