Duties and Responsibilities
- Support and adhere to Parker’s Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures and observe housekeeping guidelines.
- Operates a variety of production equipment, assembles various components into completed or partially completed products or assemblies.
- Follows established safety and environmental policies, procedures, and methods applicable to the work area.
- Performs assigned duties in conformance with established production standards and following established work instruction.
- Uses hand tools safely and effectively (press, torque wrenches, drills, etc.).
- Aids in testing completed product.
- Responsible for maintaining quality of work utilizing judgement, measuring devices and gauges.
- Participates in problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer complaint resolution efforts.
- Participates in daily area clean up and more significant facility clean-up efforts as assigned.
- Accepts reassignment to other departments as workload dictates.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Type
- Full - Time
Shift/Pay Rate
- 17.50 hourly, Weekly pay.
Work Schedule
- You are expected to work two Mandatory Saturdays out of each month; every other Saturday.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions, work orders, procedures, prints, and short correspondence.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form with engineers, managers, and other associates to share information and help to solve problems.
Mathematical Skills
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Computer skills including MS Word and Excel preferred.
- May require climbing ladders.
