About the role
Join the Production team supporting high-volume print production to deliver secure, accurate materials for our clients. You will join the team at 7302 Pacific Street and receive training on our world-class print production equipment; you will set up, maintain, and troubleshoot machines to produce accurate work on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of print production machines to generate statements and invoices, including digital printers, folder/inserters, and mailstream equipment.
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot production machines to meet quality and throughput requirements.
- Adapt and multitask as production volume and priorities change without advanced notice.
- Conduct quality checks to verify that printed materials match job orders and sampling standards.
- Stage materials after job runs for warehouse pickup and coordinate with material handlers.
- Cross-train to learn the operation of other production equipment and support multiple production departments.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a fast paced production environment or equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of work, education, and/or military experience.
- 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced production or print/mail environment.
- 1+ year of experience operating production machinery and performing routine maintenance.
- Experience with warehouse staging and inventory systems (e.g., handheld barcode scanners, basic WMS).
- Completed safety training such as OSHA-10 or equivalent and demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
- Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
- The ability to stand for a majority of the shift; safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; lift above your shoulders; and climb, squat, kneel, twist, push, and bend frequently during each shift.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
