Production Associate

Major Responsibilities

• Pack finished goods into case units.
• Prepare paperwork to document packing activities.
• Palletize products.
• Perform miscellaneous functions to advance production goals.

Qualifications

• Detailed data entry.
• Ability to learn machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Demonstrates proficiency in the English language.
• Ability to review work orders and production schedules to ensure work is performed according to specifications.
• Ability to work in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Possesses time management skills.
• Functions successfully as part of a team.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Clear, close vision for reading and computer work.
• Able to sit, stand, walk, balance, stoop, climb, talk, hear, and operate computer keyboard.
• Able to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
• Able to quickly move hands together with arms, or be able to use hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
• May occasionally/frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pound objects depending upon area of production assigned.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) year of experience in production/food manufacturing support role.
