Production Associate 2nd Shift

About the role
1st Shift Base Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential. 2nd shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:00 pm–1:30 am.
The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This role performs tasks across a variety of departments.
Responsibilities
- Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
- Support window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows
- Perform workstation functions using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
- Understand and carry out verbal instructions
- Read and carry out simple written instructions
- Read work orders, labels, and schedules
- Use a tape measure, inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
- Make fraction and decimal conversions
- Operate equipment needed to perform a job
- Provide on-the-job training to new employees
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing (preferred)
- Experience reading a tape measure (preferred)

Pay
