Production Associate 1st Shift

Cornwall Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products for residential and low-rise non-residential buildings in North America. Based in Cary, N.C., we serve customers in new construction and repair/remodel markets. Our product line includes vinyl windows, vinyl siding, stone veneer, metal roofing, metal wall systems, and metal accessories. Responsibilities
- Assemble windows for customers by measuring and using hand tools, saws, punches, and drills
- Maintain a safe/clean work environment and adhere to safe work practices in all job projects
- Absorb and assist in production tasks
- Be open to cross-training and learning new skills
- Comply with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or construction preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment and be quality-conscious
- Daily commitment to safety
- Desire and willingness to work and learn, with a strong commitment to excellent attendance and a can-do attitude
- Ability to read a tape measure

Physical & Environmental Demands
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, grasp, stand, walk, and perform fine manipulation with fingers
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Exposed to excessive noise, dust, fumes, or chemicals on the shop floor
- Intermittently exposed to inclement weather
- Work overtime as needed
