Production Assistant - San Diego, CA

About the role

The Production Assistant position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. This role supports the San Diego, CA location and offers a salary range of $20.20 to $29.48 hourly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all project job files
• Track missing labor timesheets and time card punches
• Order and store office supplies
• Maintain office equipment and ensure cleanliness
• Type reports and send/track Inspection Deficiency Reports (IDR’s)
• File all reports, answers, Inspection and Test Records by work item and work order number
• Take accurate minutes of meetings and draft administrative memos and letters
• Provide administrative support to Program Managers, Senior Project Manager(s), and Project Manager(s)
• Request supplies for ordering from Front Office and ensure all supplies are put away in an orderly fashion
• Respond to business needs during non-business hours as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required
• Completion of college courses with Business Major emphasis preferred, minimum 2 years experience in an office environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to listen and be a part of a team
• Understanding of job management system and billing process
• Independent work ability with minimal supervision
• Superior filing and organizational skills
• Ability to work with Managers and Supervisors at all levels
• Excellent phone and customer service skills
• Desire to practice integrity and professionalism in all aspects of the business
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
• In-depth knowledge of associated trades (i.e., welder, outside/inside machinist, electrician, etc.)
• Problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and team-building competencies
• Excellent communication skills, both as a listener and when providing direction
