Production Assistant - PVC/B Crew

Eligible for a $3,000 bonus: $1,500 at 3 months and $1,500 at 6 months.

Schedule

6:45 AM – 7:00 PM, 2/2/3 rotation (every other weekend).

Pay

$19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to accident-free operations and compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations.
• Assist the department in producing a quality product based on product specifications.
• Monitor and complete quality checks to ensure product standards (color, surface, size, etc.) are met prior to packaging.
• Perform proper pallet placement and packaging techniques for finished material.
• Move material to designated areas as needed.
• Assist extrusion operator with machine cleaning functions, including saws and tanks, when necessary.
• Communicate daily issues and pertinent information to production assistants, assistant operators, operators, and team leaders.
• Follow all plant safety procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
• Understand and follow all company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Complete production operator reports in detail.
• Complete additional quality and production paperwork as required.
• Complete and attach labels according to product specifications.
• Perform housekeeping duties in the production area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required.
• Basic computer skills.
