Production Assistant (Podcasts)

About the role

The Global entertainment company is seeking a Production Assistant (Podcasts) to join their team through May 2027. This is a 40 hour/week role. The role requires 5 days/week onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Work hours are 10-7pm daily. Weekend/holiday work may be requested on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Upload full podcast episodes to internal platforms with producers to publish podcast clips as VOD and vertical videos
• Collaborate daily with product and key stakeholders to review performance
• Partner with marketing to explore promotional opportunities
• Communicate daily with the internal teams to ensure publishing is running smoothly
• Track data and communicate performance to broader group, including key stakeholders
• Provide updates in meetings with key stakeholders such as production, marketing, editorial and sales
• Cook up the creation of backend publishing needs to launch Podcast show pages and playlists

Requirements

• 1+ year of digital media experience
• Experience as a production assistant or similar field
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Premiere)
• Video publishing with services like YouTube
• Knowledge of the podcast industry
• Strong editorial instinct with the ability to create short-form clips from broader podcast moments
• Ability to work occasional nights, weekends and holidays

Nice to have

• Prior entertainment/news experience

• Must have a valid US work authorization
