Associate Podcast Producer

Key Responsibilities

• Cook up podcast planning and scheduling, including guest outreach and calendar management.
• Handle administrative tasks like maintaining production timelines, organizing assets, and tracking deliverables.
• Aid with technical setup for audio and video recordings, including cameras, microphones, and related equipment.
• Operate and troubleshoot recording software and hardware during sessions.
• Occasionally step up as the lead producer during recording sessions, ensuring smooth sailing.
• Collaborate with the production team to streamline workflows from pre-production through publishing.
• Contribute creative ideas for content development and audience engagement.
• Support post-production processes, including file management and editing.
• Identify clips from productions for social media.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Technical knowledge of audio/video equipment, including cameras and microphones.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Logic Pro X.
• Familiarity with supplementary tools such as Riverside.FM, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot common technical issues during recording sessions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Creative mindset with a proactive, self-starter attitude.
