Production Assembler - 500 Line / 2nd Shift

Hourly position in our Production department.

About the role

Insert foam and packing sections on the 500 Line assembly line.

Responsibilities

• Lift and organize sections
• Interpret and print orders
• Cut insulation/foam
• Insert foam in endcaps/sections
• Packing, banding and labeling the sections
• Down stack finished product to pallets or carts
• Maintain a clean and safe working area
• Perform tasks of any position on the line as necessary to meet production needs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous manufacturing or assembly line experience preferred, but not required
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and more than 50 lbs using a team-lift
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to use a computer, keyboard and related software
• Ability to operate hand tools

Working Conditions

• Standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day
• Grasping and fine finger manipulation on both hands
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
• Plant is not climate controlled
• Noise levels can become high; hearing protection is provided and required
• Work area contains moving mechanical machinery, parts or vibration

Pay

$19.00 - $20.42 per hour
