Production Assembler 2 (PG)

About the Role

The Production Assembler II performs electromechanical assembly processes to create finished products, utilizing hand tools, soldering, and inspection skills. This role involves preparing wires, connecting coils, soldering, fusing, and installing components according to manufacturing instructions, blueprints, and diagrams. The assembler may also conduct advanced testing, perform marking and cleaning, and use microscopes and small hand tools. Training on simple machinery may be provided. Safety policies and procedures must be actively followed.

Responsibilities

• Perform electromechanical assembly processes using hand tools and soldering
• Prepare wires, connect coils, solder, fuse, and install components per manufacturing instructions, blueprints, and diagrams
• Conduct advanced testing, marking, and cleaning of assembled products
• Use microscopes and small hand tools as required
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Complete moderate paperwork, including report preparation
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
