General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) has immediate openings for Production Assembler II to join our Moses Lake, WA team. Our products can be found with every U.S. military branch and with allies around the world. We are looking for a motivated and creative leader to help shape and support our mission.
The Production Assembler II role assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment. Ability to obtain forklift operator certification.
Responsibilities
- Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.
- Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.
- May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
- Keeps daily assembly production records.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
- Understands hazardous characteristics & compatibility of propellants; handling pyrotechnic/chemical materials with required safety requirements; wears and takes care of all personal protective equipment (PPE) required, including Respirator, Eye Protection, Safety Shoes.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED required and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience.
- Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as required.
Preferred:
- Vocational/Technical Training Degree.

- May be requested to work a different shift.
