Responsibilities

  • Transform graphic concepts into flawless, production-ready art files across Cut & Sew and Tees for the Tennis category, covering both on-athlete and retail product levels.
  • Utilize 2D and 3D design tools to generate high-volume graphic schematics, lay-down product pages, and digital renders as well as physical prototypes.
  • Review physical strike-offs and maintain continuous file accuracy, tracking all updates through to final approval.
  • Produce clear technical documentation to ensure smooth handoffs to downstream manufacturing partners.
  • Serve as the primary graphic production resource for cross-functional teams, including Apparel Design, Graphic Design, Product Management, Technical Design, PCC Development, and Material Development.
  • Lead Production Art alignment meetings within the Tennis offense to identify action items and communicate technical production needs.
  • Report status updates directly to the Production Art Manager/Senior Manager while working closely alongside Graphic Designers and fellow Production Artists.
  • Manage multiple graphic production projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment to keep overall product creation timelines moving forward.
  • Advocate for workflow efficiencies across the product creation lifecycle by adopting and integrating emerging digital tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a design and/or production environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Illustrator and Adobe Suite and building Apparel, Trim, Screenprint Schematics.
  • Experience in 3D apparel programs (CLO or Browzwear) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of graphic applications such as ink types and trim substrates.
  • Understanding of product lifecycle and key deliverables.
  • Strong listening, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity while continuing to collaborate with the team.
  • Laser focus on the critical details that often get missed.
  • Able to multi-task amidst competing priorities.
  • Curiosity for learning and building a strong design community.
  • Understanding of Smartsheet, Airtable, and Miro is a plus.
  • A love for sports is a bonus but a love for design is essential.
