Role Summary
We are seeking a Production Artist II to join the Apparel Graphic Production team supporting the Tennis category. This role is responsible for translating creative concepts into accurate, production-ready artwork across apparel products. The ideal candidate has a strong graphic design foundation, deep expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite, and experience creating apparel graphics, trim details, screen print schematics, and production documentation.
Top Must Have Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, related field, or equivalent experience
- Portfolio showcasing apparel graphic design and production artwork required
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience creating apparel graphics, trim packages, screen print schematics, and production-ready files
- Strong graphic design background combined with apparel industry experience
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively support a broader design team
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Experience with 3D apparel tools such as CLO or Browzwear is a plus
Additional Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a design, graphic production, or apparel production environment
- Understanding of the product creation lifecycle and key deliverables
- Knowledge of graphic application methods, ink types, and trim substrates
- Ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining momentum and collaboration
- Experience with Smartsheet, Airtable, and Miro is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous process improvement
- Passion for design and interest in sports apparel products
- Proven ability to maintain accuracy and quality while working under tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Create and finalize production-ready graphic artwork for tennis apparel products across multiple product categories
- Develop detailed graphic schematics, artwork packages, and technical documentation for downstream partners
- Collaborate with Apparel Design and Graphic Design teams to execute graphics from concept through production
- Build accurate apparel laydowns, product pages, and graphic application specifications
- Utilize 2D and 3D tools to visualize and validate graphic placement, scale, and execution
- Review strike-offs, samples, and artwork files to ensure quality and accuracy
- Track, maintain, and update graphic files throughout the product creation process through final approval
- Participate in production art meetings and cross-functional project discussions
- Serve as a key production art resource within the Tennis category and support broader design initiatives as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and production efficiencies
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting deadlines
