Product Training Specialist

About the role

This role will provide training guidance and support for Vermeer products to optimize the learning experience for participants. We’re looking for someone with seasoned knowledge of Vermeer equipment to help teach an ever-growing sales team within our global dealer organization.

Responsibilities

• Work with product development, engineering, and product support teams to determine content needs and expectations.
• Build supporting content that simplifies complex concepts using fundamental product and customer persona knowledge.
• Balance information, resources, and deadlines to produce timely and impactful product training content.
• Utilize a range of applications to assist in the creation of training content.
• Create short scripts for educational videos.
• Structure in-person learning environments for product training events (1-5 days in length).
• Deliver training content to audiences in engaging and educational ways.
• Use hands-on demonstrations and simulation as needed to accomplish learning goals.
• Evaluate class participation and environment, adjusting as needed.
• Provide student feedback through report cards.
• Monitor industry training trends and participate in team meetings to provide insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
• Ability to acquire a Class A CDL license.
• Knowledge of parts systems and sales skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and public speaking.
• Fluency in English or bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Occasional travel is expected.
