About the role

The Software Quality Automation Engineer position at VBA is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing solutions to ensure software quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and project managers to understand requirements and integrate automation into the development process.
• Execute automated tests to identify defects and bugs in the software.
• Document test cases and results, and maintain test environments.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve testability and automation practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software testing, preferably with a focus on automation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or Robot Framework.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
