About the role
The Software Quality Automation Engineer position at VBA is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing solutions to ensure software quality.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and project managers to understand requirements and integrate automation into the development process.
- Execute automated tests to identify defects and bugs in the software.
- Document test cases and results, and maintain test environments.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve testability and automation practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in software testing, preferably with a focus on automation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or Robot Framework.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
