Product Support Assistant- Warranty

Job Overview

The purpose of the Product Support Assistant in the Warranty department is to provide the required support for the entirety of the warranty process for WIRTGEN GROUP product lines by accomplishing several key responsibilities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Print and assemble all warranty claims assigned
• Completes and posts machine inspection and receiving reports into SAP database
• Completes warranty registration for machines and engines, follows up with customers to ensure completion
• Answers incoming service calls and input customer information into online call log (D-TAC, D-PAC, CCMS)
• Utilizes department resources such as the Product Support Manual guidelines for clarification
• Ensures appropriate documents are uploaded into SAP and Doc. Record
• Completes other assigned tasks as required

Education And Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent, or six months to one year related experience with similar types of duties performed; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail with documents and established processes
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit.
• The employee is occasionally required to walk and stand;
• talk or hear to complete the necessary work and interact with others in the department.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• The employee is frequently required to use hands and finger dexterity to use a computer, grasp and move items; reach with hands and arms.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision.

Work Environment

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as it is performed in a general office environment.
