Product Support Assistant

Job Summary

Medline is hiring for a Product Support Assistant! This position is located at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, IL on a hybrid basis.

About the Role

Provide general department support to the product and sales teams. Duties may include coordinating the flow of sample requests from reps, placing sample orders, labeling/re-labeling product, and packing/re-packing items. May require coordinating with the sales rep, account and/or manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the coordination of sample requests and orders.
• Ensure proper receipt, stocking, and organization of product samples, including all necessary components and literature.
• Identify and address issues on behalf of the product and sales teams.
• Escalate issues to the appropriate team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font style and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste and save functions, aligning text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check and/or printing worksheets).
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word (opening a document, cutting, pasting and aligning text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and column width, sorting, inserting bullets, pictures and dates, using find and replace, undo, spell check, track changes, review pane and/or print functions).
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for managing customer inquiries, tracking requests, and maintaining effective communication.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience with customer service or sales support.
• Preferred experience using ticketing systems or Zendesk.

The Anticipated Salary Range For This Position is $20.25 - $29.25 Hourly. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
