Product Specialist – Quotations & Proposals at Lake Shore Electric

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed quotations and proposals using NetSuite based on customer inquiries and RFQs.
• Analyze technical drawings and single-line diagrams to provide accurate pricing.
• Enter orders per company policies and collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and production teams.
• Engage with customers and sales managers to clarify requirements and provide updates.
• Maintain organized records and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
• Stay updated on product specs to ensure knowledgeable customer interactions.
• Demonstrate a “get it done” mentality with prompt task completion.

Requirements

• 2+ years in inside sales, estimating, or proposal development, preferably in electrical/industrial manufacturing.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution equipment (e.g., switchboards, switchgear, transfer switches).
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive work ethic and onsite availability in Bedford, OH.
