Client is seeking a Quality Analysis Associate to support service quality analysis and continuous improvement initiatives within the home appliance industry. The ideal candidate is proactive, eager to learn, and capable of communicating findings and recommendations effectively across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform weekly and monthly analysis of product quality data, including analysis by product, model, and symptom trends.
  • Monitor quality performance of new models and compare results against benchmark model trends.
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of weekly and monthly reports and presentations for cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct product evaluations and testing activities to support continuous improvement in product and service quality.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and test home appliance products to identify common symptoms, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Investigate quality concerns and perform root cause analysis to identify corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, headquarters, and manufacturing facilities to resolve product quality issues.
  • Track and monitor quality-related cases and tickets on a daily basis.
  • Manage quality issue documentation and monitor pending and in-progress items until solutions are implemented.
  • Retrieve and evaluate parts and units as required to support investigations and testing efforts.
  • Support quality sensing activities through data analysis and trend monitoring.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and resolutions effectively to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Occasionally travel locally between the training facility, warehouse, and office as business needs require.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.

Experience

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in an analytics-focused role.
  • Experience in home appliance service, troubleshooting, analysis, or root cause determination is preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of manufacturing, engineering, and product design concepts.

Skills

Required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to assess and disassemble product components as part of research and analysis activities.
  • Valid ability to drive and travel locally when required.
  • Strong interest in the home appliance industry and product quality improvement.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while achieving team and individual goals.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, service agents, sales representatives, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to solve problems involving diverse conditions and develop creative solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and complete work within established timelines.

Preferred

  • Korean language proficiency or bilingual communication skills.
  • Knowledge of home appliance products and service operations within the consumer products industry.
  • Experience supporting product quality analysis, testing, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with service quality tracking, issue management, and trend analysis.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, manufacturing facilities, and global stakeholders.

Pay

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $34.50/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law.
