Product Profiler

About the role

The Product Profiler supports the inventory process in the Distribution Center through random audits, cycle counting, physical counts, verification of outgoing product, and system data maintenance to ensure accurate and timely records of product inventory while maintaining compliance with inventory processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Takes product measurements (size of product, cube size) for online system profiles
• Coordinates with various departments (e.g., Accounting, Shipping, Receiving, Transportation), outside carriers, and product vendors to ensure correct and accurate shipping and receiving
• Monitors the layout of the warehouse to optimize efficiency of distribution and inventory placement and assists with slotting to maintain effective use of space
• Reviews reports to ensure slots assigned are comparable for the product received and updates product and location information, including creating and setting up new locations in WMS and/or other warehouse applications
• Runs reports to verify item setup such as code dating, SKUs, receipt date, and items not shipped
• Rotates through different departments as necessary to meet business demands
• Participates in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position
• Performs all job tasks assigned by leadership staff to achieve and maintain daily productivity and quality goals

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• High attention to detail
• Computer literate, including proficiency with Google OS
• Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills
• Mechanical aptitude to assemble furniture pieces
• Good communication skills
• Complete understanding of training and communication resources relevant to the position
• Maintains awareness of loss prevention, security, and safety following company guidelines
• Basic English language proficiency

Qualifications

• Previous related work experience
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
