Product Detailer
About the role
As a Product Detailer, this role is responsible for meticulously cleaning, finishing, and preparing products, including drilling rigs, for final inspection, packing, and shipment. This includes ensuring all surfaces are free of imperfections, properly detailed, and meet company quality and safety standards. The role also oversees secure packing, accurate documentation, and coordination with logistics to support timely and correct delivery. A strong focus on precision, efficiency, and continuous improvement is essential to uphold product quality and customer satisfaction. The work environment involves both driving and physical delivery activities; employees will regularly operate commercial motor vehicles and may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, traffic hazards, and a variety of delivery site environments. The position requires frequent bending, lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading of heavy items—typically up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Extended periods of sitting while driving are expected, along with performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required, depending on delivery site requirements.
Responsibilities
- Detailing and Finishing: Clean, polish, install decals and inspect all surfaces of the drilling rig to ensure they meet quality and aesthetic standards before shipment.
- Final Inspection Support: Collaborate with quality control to identify and correct any imperfections or inconsistencies.
