Job responsibilities

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for one or more foundational payments platforms supporting shared capabilities across products and segments.
  • Lead platform ownership across the end-to-end payments lifecycle, including pay-in processing, network and payment-method economics, compliance with payment brand rules, and post-transaction events.
  • Build and operate systems of record and reusable services (APIs, workflows, data models, controls) consumed by multiple solution teams.
  • Balance long-term platform health (scalability, reliability, reuse) with near-term delivery of regulatory, network-mandated, and risk-driven commitments.
  • Ensure platforms support commercial outcomes, including margin integrity, cost-of-payments optimization, and transparent economics.
  • Drive strong governance, controls, and audit-ready evidence as platform features, not downstream processes.
  • Leverage data, analytics, and AI to automate repetitive processes, surface anomalies, and identify hidden risk or opportunity in large data sets.
  • Partner closely with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Solution teams to deliver consistent and scalable outcomes.
  • Act as senior decision owner for platform-level tradeoffs, issue resolution, and prioritization in complex or ambiguous situations. Communicate platform posture, risks, and progress clearly to senior leadership.
