About the role
Enlighten is looking for an experienced Product Owner to directly support operations and assist in growth strategy with special emphasis on the DoD Cyber Defense Command (DCDC). This role will help provide project management and DevSecOps support, assist in training and adoption of analytics and applications developed for cyber operations on the government-owned Big Data Platform (BDP), and expand future opportunities with existing customers.
Work is performed in a hybrid environment with some onsite work 3-4 days a week at Fort Meade, MD, as well as travel up to 25% to support customers CONUS and OCONUS as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Establish, foster, and strengthen relationships between the company and targeted government customers.
- Function as the lead for analytic and application development in support of operations and integrate production capabilities directly into customers' daily operations.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DCDC operational BDP capabilities and work to operationalize these capabilities into customers' daily operations.
- Provide excellent technical support to users of the Air Force BDP and its applications.
- Gather software requirements from DCDC customers, convey them to developers by establishing development roadmaps, and answer user questions or troubleshoot issues related to the platform.
- Understand and champion the company’s technology and capabilities.
- Provide company leadership with updates on project status, key customer engagements, and overall assessment of the government's direction and adoption of capabilities.
- Work with Enlighten’s Customer Experience Group (CEG) to develop and implement development plans, operational roadmaps, and action plans for identified communities of interest.
- Expand future opportunities by working with existing customers and help the DCDC program lead identify new market opportunities and target markets.
- Document and maintain opportunities in the company's CEG pipeline tools.
- Develop customer relationships and manage daily and weekly taskings and requirements to ensure company development, technical, and program teams clearly understand customer expectations and timelines.
- Develop an external network of solution partners and providers.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and engineering departments.
- Own the customer experience success from start to finish and work closely with development and engineering teams to ensure DevSecOps pipeline delivery dates align with customer targets.
- Act as the focal point for pushing capabilities out to the customer and ensure the customer is fully aware of relevant DevSecOps pipeline touchpoints for acceptance of new updates, features, or capabilities.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of Business Development, including proposal support, staffing, opportunity identification, bid/no-bid analysis, RFI/Market Responses, etc.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must currently have and maintain an active TS/SCI level U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- 9+ years in DoD cyber, agile development, and/or big data with a B.A. in Business, a technical field, or related; 7 years relevant experience with a Master's in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
- Prior government or military experience with any of the following organizations: MARFORCYBER, DCSA, DCDC, DISA, Army Cyber, U.S. Cyber Command, U.S. Air Force (AFCYBER), or 10TH Fleet / Navy Cyber.
- Experience directly managing complex technical projects and/or programs.
- Understanding of budget practices and acquisitions within the specified organizations or relationships with people who do.
- Strong ability to work with customers to understand products and drive adoption/buy-in.
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with others, including public speaking and excellent interviewing skills with active listening and empathy.
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to obtain Security+ certification within 60 days of hire.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%, sometimes on short notice (CONUS and OCONUS as necessary).
- Ability to work on customer site 3-4 days a week at Fort Meade, MD, with flexibility to adapt to schedule changes as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications may be required as directed by the customer.
- Experience with Software Engineering, Cloud Technologies, and Cyber Security.
- Technical background strong enough to determine system requirements and work closely with engineering and management to ensure accurate design and estimating (preferred but not required).
- Prior experience or familiarity with Big Data Platforms or Data Lake architectures.

Pay
Anticipated Salary Range: $133,073.00 - $190,000.00. The salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities. When extending an offer, Enlighten takes a variety of factors into consideration, including the role's function, internal equity, and a candidate's education, training, work experience, certifications, and key skills.
