Responsibilities
- Delivery Team Ownership & Execution
- Own day-to-day execution for a delivery team, ensuring value-oriented work is ready and sprint commitments are met.
- Drive backlog grooming, sprint planning, and other delivery-team meetings that keep work moving forward.
- Maintain a clear sprint objective and focus the team on completing a small number of high-value initiatives at a time and aligns with PM’s vision.
- Ensure new, usable value is delivered to production on a regular basis.
- Proactively identify and resolve blockers, open questions, and execution risks with the delivery team.
- Backlog Management, Prioritization & Story Quality
- Own and maintain an organized backlog where important work remains visible and prioritized.
- Gather requirements and translate business needs into clear, outcome-oriented user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Break features and projects into the smallest practical increments that deliver value frequently and reduce risk.
- Prioritize work to maximize customer and business value while minimizing unnecessary context switching.
- Document changes, decisions, and requirements clearly so delivery teams can execute efficiently.
- Stakeholder, Design & Engineering Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with Engineering, Design, and business stakeholders to support successful product delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and consider impacts across teams, processes, and users.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and proactively through meetings, written updates, and day-to-day interactions.
- Ensure high responsiveness and follow-through in all communications, providing prompt updates to engineering and product stakeholders.
- Product Knowledge, Data & Continuous Improvement
- Develop deep knowledge of the product, user personas, business processes, and adjacent applications.
- Understand and support execution of each of the Product Managers’ vision and strategy by representing user needs and expectations to the development team throughout planning and execution.
- Monitor product performance and maintain awareness of key usage, operational, and delivery metrics.
- Use data, user feedback, and critical thinking to evaluate opportunities, identify problems, and support decision-making.
- Demonstrate bias towards documentation and efficiency, curiosity, initiative, and continuous learning to improve products, processes, and team effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- At least 2 years of SaaS product owner / product manager experience or other related product management experience
- Demonstrated focus on delivering business and user value first and foremost, and anchoring the value delivered with measurable impact signals
- Experience working with internal stakeholders
- Experience developing reports and metrics for stakeholders and product teams, using data analysis to drive decisions
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills to keep the product backlog well-ordered and ensure important items don’t get overlooked
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently with a proactive, self-starter mindset in a fast-paced environment
- Empathetic, detail-oriented, data-driven, analytical, and inquisitive, with strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to visualize the big picture
- Excellent communication skills (clear and concise in writing and speaking) and strong presentation abilities
- Experience working with development teams using Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum), including story mapping and writing clear user stories
- Able to grasp complex business challenges and nuanced product workflows, and translate them into simple, intuitive user experiences and designs
Skills
- Experience in the B2B space where you have built and managed complex internal tools to scale business processes
- Experience working in customer support or other client facing teams, or partnering closely with those teams to understand user/client pain points
- Knowledge of NetSuite, Salesforce, AWS, other ERP or enterprise systems
- Experience building custom software applications to meet the needs of internal employees and teams, and client facing applications
- Background in financial services, payments, mergers & acquisitions, banking, or accounting and tax systems
- Naturally curious and eager to learn how complex systems and business processes operate
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
- Enthusiasm for product strategy and vision, with an interest in contributing to long-term product planning
- Proactive leadership and initiative in driving improvements and team success
- Strong research skills in areas like user journeys and workflows
- Experience with information systems and operations management

Pay
The salary range for this position is between $105k - $120k, depending on level of experience.
Schedule
This is a Denver based hybrid position with the expectation that you work from the office 2 times per week.
