Product Operations Manager (Child Safety) - Teen Experience (San Jose)
About the Team
We are building the next generation of content safety and governance systems at TikTok, with a strong focus on protecting minors and teens at global scale. Our team sits at the intersection of product, policy, and AI, leveraging large language models and multimodal technologies to design safety mechanisms that are proactive, scalable, and measurable. We work closely with Policy, Legal, Algorithm, and Engineering teams to translate complex regulatory and safety requirements into real-world product solutions that protect users while preserving a high-quality user experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end CSAM detection and removal operations, ensuring timely and effective handling of cases.
- Monitor key metrics and incident trends, driving data-informed improvements to workflows and tooling.
- Develop and optimize SOPs, escalation frameworks, and automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including reporting and audit support.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Trust & Safety teams to assess risks, improve processes, and support incident response.

Job Information
- Compensation Description (Annually): The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $93,600 - $220,400 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
