About the Role
As the Product Marketing Principal for PricingCenter & Predict, you will own the marketing strategy for how Guidewire empowers actuarial teams to transform complex pricing and predictive modeling into high-performance business outcomes. Your work will directly shape how actuaries modernize their workflows and how insurers optimize their performance. You will design and execute strategies that accelerate product adoption, drive pipeline, and equip sales teams to win within the actuarial segment.
Responsibilities
- Own the Narrative: Define the go-to-market positioning for PricingCenter and Predict, from high-level category storytelling down to the technical proof points required for actuarial review.
- Translate Complexity: Turn the underpinnings of pricing technology and predictive modeling into business-outcome conversations that land with technical leadership at insurers.
- Build Technical Content: Develop high-credibility assets, including whitepapers, technical briefs, and data-driven case studies, that resonate with an actuarial audience.
- Empower the Field: Create sales enablement tools, such as battlecards and objection-handling guides, that hold up under technical scrutiny and are practical for field teams to use.
- Influence the Roadmap: Partner deeply with product management and engineering as a peer to bring new capabilities to market and influence the product roadmap based on actuarial feedback and market trends.
- Thought Leadership: Deliver industry-focused presentations, keynotes, and deep-dive technical sessions at actuarial conferences and customer workshops.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape specifically related to insurance pricing and predictive analytics software to keep Guidewire’s story ahead of the market.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product marketing, insurance-focused technical marketing, or actuarial software GTM at an enterprise software company.
- Deep understanding of P&C insurance pricing workflows, predictive modeling, and the specific needs and pain points of the actuarial and data science persona.
- Experience in leveraging statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to drive actionable business insights, preferably within the insurance or actuarial sector.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex actuarial concepts and data science into clear, sharp, and persuasive narratives for both technical and business audiences.
- Experience with enterprise software or SaaS GTM strategies, including the ability to drive adoption and generate pipeline.
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills. You can take dense technical input and shape it into messaging that is clear, sharp, and built to persuade at scale.
- Comfortable discussing reference architectures and modeling concepts with data scientists, while distilling them into clear, visual narratives for executives. Proficiency in MLOps, Python, and R is highly desirable.

Pay
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000 - $270,000. Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors.
