Responsibilities
- Develop clear value propositions, positioning, and messaging for services offerings (e.g., professional services, managed services, support, consulting, lifecycle services).
- Differentiate services based on customer outcomes, ROI, and business impact—not just features.
- Tailor messaging by customer segment, industry, lifecycle stage, and buying persona.
- Lead go-to-market planning for new services launches, service bundles, and pricing/packaging updates.
- Partner with Product, Services Delivery, and Sales to define launch plans, offer readiness, and success metrics.
- Create sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, battlecards, solution briefs, FAQs, and ROI tools.
- Train sales and partner teams on services value, use cases, and competitive differentiation.
- Support upsell, cross-sell, and attach-rate strategies tied to product and platform adoption.
- Conduct customer research, win/loss analysis, and competitive assessments specific to services.
- Gather voice-of-customer insights to inform service offer evolution and packaging.
- Monitor market trends, pricing models, and service benchmarks.
- Support customer lifecycle initiatives such as onboarding, adoption, renewal, and expansion.
- Partner with Customer Success and Services teams to improve engagement and retention through targeted messaging.
- Develop content and campaigns focused on outcomes, best practices, and customer success stories.
- Act as the services marketing liaison between Product, Sales, Services Operations, Finance, and Customer Success.
- Ensure consistent messaging across marketing channels, internal teams, and partners.
- Influence roadmap and service design by representing market and customer needs.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing or solutions marketing, preferably with services or recurring revenue offerings.
- Experience supporting B2B sales teams and complex buying cycles.
- Strong storytelling, messaging, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to turn technical or operational services into clear customer value.
Compensation
The pay range for this role is $140,000-$200,000 USD with actual pay commensurate based on the candidate's experience within the role.
