Overview

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Product Marketing team generates customer insights to inform Stripe’s product strategy and leads go-to-market efforts for its suite of products. The team works closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Partnerships, Demand Generation, and Campaigns. They shape the product roadmap, own product-level messaging and positioning, and develop differentiated content for events and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an early strategic partner on new offerings — shaping product direction, defining target segments, and building the GTM foundation (positioning, packaging, pricing narrative) from zero to one.
  • Drive end-to-end product launches, including defining audience segments, gathering user insights, crafting launch narratives, informing pricing and packaging, ensuring cross-functional readiness, and executing launch activities.
  • Create differentiated messaging and positioning, equip GTM teams with knowledge and content to sell and market effectively.
  • Develop high-impact thought leadership content.
  • Work closely with product, sales, data science, pricing, and cross-functional marketing teams to identify new opportunities to drive awareness, demand, and adoption of our products and build the right marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product marketing or growth marketing experience at a technology company.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience translating technical features into benefits for a technical audience.
  • Track record of working cross-functionally across product, sales, and growth teams to drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role at a technology company.
  • Strong understanding of product marketing principles and practices.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with market research and analysis.

  • Annual US base salary range: $132,600 - $198,800.
