Product Marketing Manager
Your Mission
As our first dedicated Product Marketing hire, you'll partner closely with the VP of Marketing to build the Product Marketing function and define Trener's positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy. Working across Product, Sales, Engineering, and executive leadership, you'll transform complex AI and robotics technology into compelling customer value through product launches, commercial enablement, and world-class storytelling for manufacturers, partners, robot OEMs, semiconductor companies, and investors. We're looking for a hands-on builder who combines strategic thinking with exceptional execution and thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the VP of Marketing and cross-functional teams, you will:
- Drive product positioning, messaging, and category development across our products, applications, industries, and target audiences, ensuring Trener is clearly differentiated in the market.
- Develop a deep understanding of customers, partners, competitive intelligence, and market trends to continuously refine positioning and messaging.
- Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new products, features, industries, and applications, from positioning and launch strategy to commercial enablement.
- Own sales, marketing, and partner enablement, including customer success stories, partner case studies, competitive assets, and commercial proof points.
- Partner with executive leadership on keynote presentations, strategic announcements, investor communications, and major company messaging.
- Support US field marketing initiatives, including conferences, trade shows, customer visits, partner events, and product demonstrations.
- Contribute hands-on to digital marketing initiatives, including website content, SEO, campaigns, marketing automation, and demand generation, while ensuring consistent product positioning across every customer touchpoint.
- Build scalable Product Marketing processes, frameworks, and best practices that support Trener's long-term growth.
This role requires travel within the United States to support customer visits, partner meetings, conferences, and trade shows.
What Great Looks Like
- Experience 8+ years of Product Marketing experience in B2B technology, with a strong background in software, AI, or enterprise platforms. Experience in robotics is preferred, while industrial automation or manufacturing software is highly desirable.
- Proven experience bringing products to market through positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, launches, and commercial enablement.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Engineering, and executive leadership in fast-growing or venture-backed technology companies.
- Hands-on experience in both Product Marketing and Digital Marketing, with a solid understanding of demand generation, website strategy, SEO, marketing automation, and field marketing.
