Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer needs, competitive technologies, market trends, regulatory influences, and commercial opportunities across municipal, industrial, and other environmental applications.
- Guide product priorities, market investments, pricing, positioning, and commercialization using market insights.
- Shape the product portfolio by identifying gaps, defining market-driven requirements, supporting product lifecycle decisions, and developing business cases for new opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Research and Development, Operations, and executive leadership to align technical and commercial strategies.
- Travel for customer meetings, market research, conferences, and industry events.
Requirements
- Experience in product management, product marketing, market strategy, technical marketing, or commercial strategy within a technical industry.
- Water and wastewater experience is strongly preferred (e.g., drinking water, water reuse, industrial water, disinfection, or adjacent environmental technologies).
- Strong commercial judgment, analytical ability, and experience translating customer and market intelligence into product, pricing, or investment decisions.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience (engineering degree not required).
Professional Growth
This role offers the opportunity to become an influential voice in product and market strategy while gaining significant exposure to executive decision-making. The successful candidate will help determine where the organization invests, which markets it pursues, and how technical capabilities drive commercial growth.
Pay
Anticipated base salary range: $90,000 to $165,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional incentive compensation and benefits may be available.
Work Environment
This position works across commercial, technical, operational, and executive teams. The successful candidate should be comfortable building consensus, presenting recommendations, and translating complex market and technical information into practical business decisions.
The organization operates in established environmental and infrastructure markets with growing demand for efficient engineered treatment solutions, serving essential water and environmental applications.
