Product Marketing Manager
About the Company
Dill is revolutionizing payment, AR, and trade credit for the construction materials industry. Material suppliers, distributors, and wholesalers are some of the most important stakeholders in the industry but are often the last to get paid. You’ll be joining a YC-backed, fast-growing company with a second-time founder (previous exit in construction technology).
About the Role
You'll build the marketing function from the ground up: positioning, proof, and the sales enablement that turns our outbound motion into a repeatable engine. You'll work directly with sales leadership and the CEO. This is a zero-to-one seat for someone who wants to build, not inherit, and grow into leading a team as we scale.
Responsibilities
In the first six months, you will own:
- Proof and storytelling: Build a case study engine from our customer base, including a flagship displacement story from a customer who left the legacy incumbent. Turn wins into content sales can actually use.
- Partner and association activation: Turn our partner relationships into pipeline: newsletter placements, hosted webinars, and events. Own the webinar motion end to end.
- Messaging and sales enablement: Sharpen one differentiated narrative and build the enablement behind it to make SDR/AE motion consistent.
- Intent and prioritization: Route top-of-funnel signal (webinar registrants, content engagement, association activity) to the SDRs.
- Website: Update for conversion and positioning as it moves up the priority list.
Requirements
- A GTM generalist with a product marketing core. You've owned positioning, messaging, and sales enablement, not just campaigns or brand.
- Proven ability to build in a lean, early-stage environment and prioritize hard when everything feels urgent.
- Strong writer who can translate a technical product into a buyer narrative for a non-technical, slow-to-adopt industry.
- Comfortable working shoulder to shoulder with sales and turning customer conversations into assets that close deals.
Nice to Have
- Experience in construction tech, industrial, distribution, fintech, or another vertical SaaS selling into traditional industries.
What This Role Is Not
This is not a pure demand-gen or paid-acquisition role, not a brand-only role, and not a seat with a large team or budget on day one. Results here come from building foundation and proof first. The right person is energized by that and grows the team as results unlock investment.
