- Work closely with product management, sales enablement, and marketing teams to deeply understand customer requirements and develop target personas responsible for business and technical decision making on data protection projects.
- Closely with product management to devise in-product marketing strategies that drive product-led growth opportunities.
- Craft clear, compelling, and differentiated messaging and positioning for the SaaS version of our flagship data protection product and its derivatives.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to raise Cohesity and product brand awareness and relevance in the competitive data protection space while also working cross-functionally to drive pipeline growth.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy, including various materials such as collateral, videos, presentations, blogs, webinars, etc., to support demand generation campaigns.
- Closely with sales enablement, field marketing, sales leadership, and growth marketing to define and execute sales plays that have direct impact on growth.
- Define and drive a promotional activation strategy to elevate Cohesity above the competition in the data protection space.
- Represent the company and our solutions at speaking engagements, conferences, media events, and analyst briefings.
- Collaborate with the sales and partner enablement teams to develop sales enablement collateral and support field communication.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in product marketing, technical marketing, and/or product management in data storage technologies, platforms, and management.
- Experience in Cloud, data security, SaaS, AI, Challenger Insight Selling, Command of the Message, or marketing to midsize businesses is highly desired but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.
- Excellent storytelling skills, demonstrated through exceptional written and spoken communications.
- Ability to balance multiple projects and work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Ability to identify customer needs and effectively position B2B products/solutions to resonate with diverse target audiences.
- A proactive individual with a strong sense of ownership who excels in a dynamic software environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work onsite at the Santa Clara headquarters 2–3 days per week.
