Responsibilities
- Go-to-Market Strategy Lead
- Positioning, messaging, launch plans, cross-functional timelines, and branded campaigns
- c.ai+ subscription promo calendar: plan and execute deals, discounts, and trial offers
- Branded campaigns: build awareness, drive trial, and reinforce Character’s brand
- Positioning framework: product positioning, competitive messaging, and value propositions
- Competitive landscape: track competitor positioning, pricing, and marketing
- Success metrics and repeatable playbooks
- App Store Optimization (ASO)
- App store listing performance: keyword strategy, metadata optimization, conversion rate optimization, and ranking tracking
- Creative collaboration: screenshots, preview videos, and descriptions
- App store promo submissions and execution: feature nominations and promotional placements
- Custom product page (CPP) strategy and execution: build, test, and iterate
- ASO localization: localized keywords, metadata, screenshots, and descriptions
- Ratings & reviews strategy: solicitation and sentiment monitoring
- In-Product Monetization Copy
- Conversion copy: subscription upsells, paywall modals, upgrade prompts, pricing pages, and free-to-paid nudges
- Narrative arc of the free-to-paid journey: reinforce value of Character+
- A/B tests: improve upgrade rates, reduce churn, and optimize conversion
- Copy system: tested headlines, CTAs, and value prop messaging
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of product marketing experience at a high-growth consumer tech, AI, or subscription-based company
- Proven track record of leading product launches and branded campaigns
- Hands-on copywriter: personal experience writing in-product copy
- Strong ASO experience: keyword strategy, creative testing, and performance tracking
- Exceptional storytelling skills: distill nuance into clear messaging
- Strong analytical chops: A/B testing, funnel metrics, and data refinement
- Deep cross-functional instincts: working with PMs, engineers, designers, and data scientists
- Scrappy and self-directed: thrive in ambiguity and move fast without waiting for permission

- Early PMM hire and function builder
- Experience marketing to Gen Z or community-driven audiences
- Familiarity with AI/ML products, LLMs, or conversational AI
- Growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or product-led growth experience

- International ASO or localization experience
