About the role

Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge GIS projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the advancement of geographic information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS platform
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of GIS solutions
  • Perform data analysis and visualization tasks
  • Ensure software quality through testing and debugging
  • Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and industry trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Geomatics, or related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience in GIS development or related field
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Python
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

  • Experience with geospatial data analysis and mapping
  • Knowledge of database management systems
  • Understanding of web development concepts and technologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
