About the role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Marketing Director, Velocity based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for SMB and Mid-Market offerings, including customer segmentation, positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation.
- Lead cross-functional product launches in collaboration with Product Management, Sales, Demand Generation, Regional Marketing, and Channel teams to ensure successful market adoption.
- Develop scalable sales enablement materials, partner resources, messaging frameworks, and marketing assets that support consistent global execution.
- Analyze customer feedback, competitive trends, market dynamics, and win/loss data to identify growth opportunities and influence product strategy.
- Partner with revenue teams to improve pipeline generation, customer acquisition, expansion opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Establish performance metrics and best practices to continuously enhance go-to-market effectiveness and operational excellence across velocity-focused business segments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, go-to-market strategy, or solutions marketing, including leadership experience managing product marketing teams.
- Proven success developing and executing GTM strategies for SMB, Commercial, or Mid-Market technology products.
- Strong expertise in product positioning, messaging, product launches, competitive analysis, and sales enablement.
- Experience collaborating with Product Management, Sales, Demand Generation, Channel organizations, and executive leadership.
- Excellent strategic thinking, executive communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within enterprise software, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, data protection, or related technology industries is highly preferred.
