Product Manager – Service Contracts
International’s Service Contracts and Connectivity Group is seeking a Product Manager – Service Contracts to enhance our product portfolio and support the shift from offering products to providing comprehensive solutions for vehicle owners and operators. The role focuses on Extended Service Contracts, Maintenance Telematic products, and predictive offerings that improve customer efficiency, uptime, and brand loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Manages product lines to enhance or distinguish product placement
- Owns market research and monitors competitive activity to identify business opportunities and address customer needs
- Works collaboratively to establish pricing strategies
- Communicates VOC (voice of the customer) and VOD (voice of dealer) for product improvements and competitive positioning
- Leverages customer feedback to develop contracted solutions that optimize total cost of ownership
- Works cross-functionally to ensure organizational alignment with business plans for new or enhanced products
- May be assigned to strategic initiatives aimed at transforming the customer experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of marketing, sales, or product-related experience, including at least 1 year of lead experience
- OR Master's degree and at least 3 years of marketing, sales, or product-related experience, including at least 1 year of lead experience
- OR At least 8 years of marketing, sales, or product-related experience, including at least 1 year of lead experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an unrestricted basis (U.S. Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee); sponsorship (e.g., H-1B) is not anticipated
Desired Skills
- Proven product management experience with demonstrated success engaging conquest or pilot customers
- Ability to create professional PowerPoint presentations for large dealer or executive meetings
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel
- Willingness to travel to dealer and customer locations
- Comfort with new technology (software & hardware)
- Experience presenting to large groups, in person or remotely
- Superior organizational and follow-up skills
- Insurance, telematic, predictive AI, data-driven maintenance, or warranty experience is a plus
