Join our dynamic team in Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Operations Product organization, which provides critical cross-line of business support across JPMC and serves as one of the largest product portfolios in CCB, delivering value to millions of customers and over 30,000 employees. As a Product Manager in Consumer and Community Banking Operations - Global Banking Platform, you will shape the future of product innovation, drive customer value, guide successful launches, and exceed expectations. In this role, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. You will act as the voice of the customer, develop profitable products, and ensure top-tier client experiences with a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a product strategy and vision that delivers value to customers.
  • Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.
  • Own, maintain, and develop a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
  • Build the framework and track the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability.
  • Define product strategy and vision to maximize customer and business value.
  • Lead discovery and market research, translating insights into a prioritized roadmap.
  • Continuously refine the product backlog to align delivery with strategic outcomes.
  • Establish a metrics framework and track success measures (cost, features/functionality, risk posture, reliability).
  • Partner with product teams to intake and manage new feature/enhancement requests through delivery.
  • Coordinate across upstream/downstream stakeholders to assess impacts, document changes, and drive aligned execution.
  • Drive Global Banking Platform (GBP) onboarding and core capability adoption; influence quarterly planning (Jira/Jira Align) and ensure clear communications (status updates, release notes, production issue engagement with L&C/Controls).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering (or equivalent experience) with deep expertise in APIs, events, and event-driven architecture.
  • 10+ years of experience (or equivalent expertise) in the banking domain.
  • Strong API design skills and hands-on understanding of Kafka-based event streaming.
  • 2+ years of core banking experience, preferably in a product management role; exposure to cloud, domain-driven design, and event-driven systems.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and QA methodology, with excellent analytical/problem-solving, communication/collaboration, and self-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
  • Experience working in agile/scrum teams.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products including deposit accounts, loans, and card reward programs.
