Product Manager - Cross Domain Solutions (Onsite)

About the role

The Product Manager for Cross Domain Solutions will lead the Cross Domain Solutions and Multi-Level Security product lines within Collins Aerospace’s Protected Payload Technologies business area in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role combines product strategy, program execution, and financial leadership to guide investment decisions, strengthen the product portfolio, and deliver secure solutions that meet evolving customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for the CDS/MLS product line, aligning with customer requirements and business growth objectives
• Lead cross-functional teams in the development, production, and delivery of CDS and MLS solutions, ensuring financial and programmatic commitments are met
• Manage discretionary investments, support proposals and gate reviews, forecast financial results, address technical and programmatic challenges, and identify risks and opportunities
• Serve as a key customer-facing leader, providing program updates, building stakeholder relationships, and coordinating corrective actions when needed

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
• Minimum 7 years of experience in product management, program management, or a related role in the aerospace, defense, or technology industries
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive program execution across multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, investment decision-making, and financial forecasting
• Ability to analyze technical and financial data to develop actionable business strategies
• Proficiency in program management tools and methodologies
