About the role

Double Bookkeepers is a startup founded in 2021 that aims to revolutionize the way bookkeepers manage their clients' finances. The company offers an all-in-one tool designed to streamline processes, reduce errors, and provide actionable insights for small business customers. With backing from prominent investors and a growing customer base, Double is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of new features and enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CEO, CTO, designers, and engineering team to ideate and implement new features
• Conduct research with customers and prospects to identify key needs and pain points
• Work closely with the Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams to align product improvements with broader business objectives
• Create detailed product specifications and answer technical questions from engineers
• Use product features as a tool to drive business growth metrics such as MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue)

Requirements

• A strong passion for shipping high-impact products
• A deep understanding of user experience and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Experience using AI tools and a keen interest in AI technologies
• Background in accounting or familiarity with accounting-related products

Qualifications

• Proven track record of successfully managing product development cycles
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to distill complex problems into actionable product requirements
