Support the development, launch, and lifecycle management of complex hardware or software products. Collaborate with customers, Product Line Management, Program Management, and Engineering to ensure products align with market needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership & Lifecycle Support – Contribute to managing a product’s lifecycle from concept through retirement, ensuring alignment with customer needs and organizational goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work as a key partner with engineering, marketing, business development, and leadership teams to support coordinated product development, positioning, and execution.
  • Go-to-Market Support – Assist in developing launch plans for new products and support the transition of legacy products. Work closely with engineering and operations on new product introduction (NPI) and ensure alignment with go-to-market strategies.
  • Requirements Development – Support the creation of technical and business requirements, user stories, and product specifications for Program Management, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis – Conduct market analysis, gather customer insights, and track competitive trends to help identify opportunities for product improvements or new offerings.
  • Customer & Partner Engagement – Engage with customers to understand needs and challenges, bringing feedback into product planning. Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure customer issues are addressed.
  • Risk Identification – Help identify product and project risks and work with cross-functional teams on mitigation strategies.
  • Product Reporting & Communication – Review product performance metrics, help identify areas for improvement, and communicate updates to stakeholders as needed.
  • Financial & Budget Support – Assist with budgeting for product line R&D and sustainment activities and help monitor financial performance for assigned products.
  • Process Improvement – Support continuous improvement initiatives in product development, manufacturing efficiency, cost management, and quality assurance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a technical development or product-related environment.
  • Knowledge of UAS systems and products.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, work independently, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Experience supporting both R&D and product sustainment activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with stakeholders across varying technical backgrounds.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with broad responsibilities.
  • Strong initiative and commitment to achieving goals and supporting team objectives.
  • Collaborative mindset, prioritizing team success over individual interests.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with defense products and customers.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings.
  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment.
  • Clear vision for reading, data analysis, and evaluating product specifications.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites, industry events, or company locations.
  • Occasional lifting of materials or documentation (up to 20 lbs).
  • Ability to move between office, manufacturing, and test environments as needed.
  • Strong verbal communication skills for presentations and customer interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-paced environment requiring sustained attention.

Pay

Salary plus generous annual equity package and potential bonuses.

This position requires successfully completing a post-offer background check. Requires direct or indirect access to hardware, software, technology, or technical data controlled under ITAR/EAR; U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence is required.
