About the role
The role involves owning a module of the business end-to-end, including the customer experience, operator workflows, and AI agents underneath. This includes setting KPIs, translating nuances into rules and data structures, building the data flywheel, and prototyping with AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Own KPIs and move them
- Encode nuanced customer differences into rules, prompts, agents, and data structures
- Build the data flywheel by defining what "right" looks like
- Own the cross-modal experience, deciding where each modality wins and how on-ramps feel
- Talk to customers every day and literally follow up on their experiences
- Prototype with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Lovable
- Hyper-prioritize and focus on the three asks that move the KPI
Requirements
1-3 years in product, or an early-career operator, engineer, or AI researcher who's been doing the work without the title. Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a product or system, a track record of going deep on a domain, and a focus on evaluating models and systems.
Qualifications
- Obsession with evaluation metrics
- Ability to build and prototype with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Lovable
- Experience in AI/ML products, voice AI, agent frameworks, or workflow automation
- Insurance, fintech, or regulated-industry experience
- Prior startup experience

Pay
$125,000 - $170,000 base + performance bonus + equity

On-site in San Francisco, Monday-Friday, roughly 5 AM - 8 PM
