Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and deliver the next generation cloud native architecture of ArcGIS Enterprise built using microservices.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and product capabilities.
  • Provide a strong technical voice in the product development process.
  • Use the best tools available to build highly reliable, sustained, and evolutionary software.

Requirements

  • Ten or more years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native technologies.
  • Strong understanding of geospatial data and GIS concepts.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Experience with database systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in relevant areas (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer).
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

Skills

  • Experience with geospatial data processing and analysis.
  • Knowledge of geospatial standards and protocols (e.g., RESTful APIs, GeoJSON).
  • Experience with front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with testing frameworks and continuous integration tools.
