Responsibilities

• Follow company policies, safe work practices and procedures, prevent injury to yourself and other associates.
• Report any unsafe work condition, any work related injury or near miss injury to your shift leader or management immediately.
• Safely, efficiently and effectively carry out deep cleaning of all areas.
• Use proper LOTO procedures.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned to effectively to prevent contamination.
• Work at a steady pace to meet the current goals for down time to clean and strive to get the equipment back up and running as quickly as possible.
• Properly open, remove and replace guards and doors.
• Maintain organization of tools and equipment in their designated areas.
• Transport fiber and yarn waste to the baler.
• Bag and label good fiber and transport to warehouse for reuse.
• Sweep floors and help maintain cleanliness in all areas.
• Absorb duties not directly associated with your job as required provided that it is not in violation of company policy, unethical, unsafe or unlawful.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a textile manufacture preferred.
• High School Diploma Preferred.
