About the role

The Product Application Specialist/Demo Operator position works closely with sales reps to promote products to customers. In this hands-on, field-focused role, you’ll be the go-to expert for showcasing equipment in action, bringing machines to life for customers and helping them experience the right solutions for their job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales representatives to recommend and demonstrate equipment that best fits customer needs and job requirements
  • Lead engaging, hands-on equipment demonstrations that highlight performance, efficiency, and real-world value
  • Develop and deliver operator training for both internal teams and customers, helping them maximize equipment performance and safety
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitor equipment to ensure you present the strongest solutions in the field
  • Maintain accurate and accessible equipment knowledge, training materials, and operational resources
  • Comply with all government safety requirements and actively promote a culture of safety on every job site
  • Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of heavy equipment operation experience in road maintenance, excavation, or similar environments
  • 3+ years of experience training others or supporting equipment applications in the field
  • Comfortable and confident demonstrating equipment in front of groups, with the ability to engage and educate audiences
  • Strong computer skills to support training, reporting, and product knowledge resources
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Hands-on experience operating heavy construction equipment, with a solid understanding of job site applications
  • Valid driver’s license required

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of advanced, field-based construction equipment experience or training, with a strong track record of demonstrations or operator coaching
